Up for bids out of my collection is a Vintage Metal Kellogg Red Bar Telephone. This early Red Bar model is made of metal verses the later bakelite one. The phone features the correct Kellogg handset and is in very nice condition, with only a few very minor chips on the ears of the handset cradle. In my collecting hay-day you would find 1 metal version for every 8 -10 bakelite ones.The bakelite one are most often cracked. The metal ones are quite popular with restorers who nickel/chrome plate the body's for a very stunning set. This one looks to have it's original paint and with it's general condition is why it was the one set I placed in my collection. This would make a nice addition to any ones Kellogg /telephone collection or someone who wants a unusual "Deco" style phone. Any questions - please email me through eBay. Thanks, Bob
