Vintage Livestock Ear Notcher Steel Ear Notching Tool, 3/4" 'V' Notch This old farm tool was designed for cutting 'v' shaped notches in an animal's ear for identification. The tool can cut a notch with a maximum size of 3/4" long by 1/2" wide across the base. The old steel tool is rusty in place (see pictures, below).
