These are rare vintage 'ABBOTWARES' bookends. The copper colored metal horse head is so gorgeous, smooth, and flowing that it became the logo for the 'ABBOTWARES' radios. These swirling horse heads are nearly beyond description. The mane swirls and flows down to the 3/4" tall, semi-circlular base. The head is turned slightly to the left. The eyes and mouth are closed. They are truly stunning. The exceptionally beautiful bookends are in extremely fine condition. Each one measures 6 1/4" tall, 5" wide, 3 1/8" deep, and weighs 2 1/3 pounds. The bottoms of the bases are covered with brown felt. These unsigned pieces would compliment any collection or would show exquisitely on their own.
