Vintage metalflake 3/4 motorcyle helmet Captain America

Vintage and very collectible metal flake motorcycle helmet from the 60's or 70's. It is the same "Captain America" paint scheme that Peter Fonda made famous in Easy Rider. Not only is this a cool collectible, it is in very good shape for it's age and very usable. The inside foam was replaced using a much newer helmet as a donor making it comfortable and clean inside. The strap and ear foam were not replaced. The exterior shines up well but has scratches and nicks all over the surface. They are just in the thick clear gel coat and could be sanded out and re-polished if someone wanted to go that far. I think it looks best as is because it shows the age. It is a small helmet with the new foam inside. I am sure one could snip out a layer or two of the new lining to make it fit larger. It fits my head as is but I don't have a big head. I actually kept it more as a display piece than anything. I have another helmet for sale right now and will ship for free if you buy both of them for the Buy it Now price. See my other auction. They are both very cool helmets to wear or just hang on the wall. Please remember these are used helmets and do show some wear. Please do not expect a perfect NOS helmet. I can ship worldwide.
