EIGHT METLOX BUDWEISER HORSES PLUS THE WAGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a wonderful set of Clydesdale horses made by the Metlox Co. of California for Budweiser. They were made for the

owners of the beer distributing companies. This particular set belonged to my mother-in-law who collected all kinds of horses. She purchased it from the "Indian Trails Distributing Co." that was located in Muskogee Oklahoma, it is no longer

in business. I assume when it went out of business in 1983 they sold or auctioned off items including this magnificent

set of the famed Budweiser team and she was able to purchase it from them. I have the original receipt w she

bought it.

The horses are in perfect condition-no breaks-repairs. T is one tiny tiny nick on one ear,I included a close-up of it,thats all I could find--amazing that all 8 have survived with no breaks or mends & have all stayed together all these years! The wagon is also in excellent condition.The horses measure approximately 9"x 9". They are a glossy deep rich brown with touches of gold paint on the harnesses.Their mane is bobbed with red & white touches. They look so proud you can almost hear the sleigh bells ringing--what a display at Christmas!! What a Christmas gift to yourself or someone else! This is a rare offering & will have what I feel is a fair reserve.

I will accept paypal or U.S. postal money orders-I will accept a personal check but I will hold the item for at least 10 days for the check to clear. I will only ship these in the U.S.!!
