Lovely study of two mallard ducks glazed in soft colors reminiscent of Royal Copenhagen. Post war piece, probably dating from the 60's or 70's. Please see my other current auctions for more collectible birds, I am always happy to combine wins!SIZE: 6" (15cm) wide x 5.5" (14cm) high approx.CONDITION: Very Good. T is one tiny shallow scrape on the edge of the drake's bill which I think is a factory flaw as it looks glazed over, but I cannot be sure. I have owned this piece for many years and only saw this flaw upon close inspection for the photos. (see photos)MARKS; Stamped on the base with the older Metzler & Ortloff mark with Ilmenau and GDR.
