Greetings! In the next few weeks I'll be listing more great items from a couple of private clients who collected diverse and quality items. Remember, when you invest in a good piece -- another one (or thirty) will not pop up immediately -- or be replaced on the shop shelf within minutes. PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH MY 'AUCTION CONDITIONS' BELOW BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN MY AUCTIONS. I've tried to avoid the listing 'diatribes', but for fair trade for all -- I do need to lay out the way I do business ahead of time. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT I NOW RUN 5 DAY AUCTIONS ONLY. I just came into some great Latin/South American vintage folk art pieces, and I'll be listing these within the next few days. The consignor I've been listing for over the last 3 - 4 months traveled extensively, and collected so much that he simply stored the pieces and they never were touched again until I dug them up. This GREAT Mexican pottery tile 'painting/mural' was in a shoebox in an upstairs closet, each of the 24 tiles carefully wrapped in old browned newspapers dated 1967 -- so the tiles date back at least 40 years. The 24 tiles form a beautiful scene of a Mexican (I would guess -- but has a great Southwestern U.S. look too) village, with the spires of a Mission/Church in the background.
