Up For Auction is a Vintage Mexican Blanket Rug - Weaving Wool Handmade 1920s Features: It was recently purchased from the estate. Expertly hand woven by early Mexican settlers in New Mexico USA, It is quite large, measuring 76" X 59". . Those that were woven between 1900 and 1920 are slowly being recognized for their eye-dazzling beauty and symmetry and are being bought by serious collectors of works by North American indigenous people. Condition: is excellent need a good cleaning. Curiously, this piece has fringe (See pictures), but the edges look clean, tight, and undamaged.
