Beautiful vintage Mexican silver and crushed turqu oise drop earrings, pierced post. The work on these earrings is ma st erfully done with the silver inla y swirling around the crushed turq uoise. The screwbacks were changed to posts for pierced ears. The earrings hang about 2 1/4" and are slightly over 1" at the widest. They weigh 20 grams. The stamp is circular with 940 MEXICO around the circle with the initials CO in the center. The earrings are in excellent vintage condition. There are many reproductions of Mexican silver on eBay but only VINTAGE provides that authentic quality. The patina and history of a vintage piece cannot be matched. It feels wonderful to wear a bit of history! Descriptions are made as accurately as possible, and they represent only the subjective opinion of this seller.
