THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE & INTEREST IN MY TREASURES!** DESCRIPTION : You are bidding on a 2DIE4 GORGEOUS sterling silver and turquoise bracelet that was handwrought in Mexico, circa 1920's to 1930's. This bracelet is masterfully crafted in a very unique Aztec/Mayan motif. It consists of ten very dimensional cast silver links in two designs ~ t are five square links with an intricately detailed image of a Deity ~ the headdress is accented with a natural turquoise cabochon ~ Aztec and Mayan carvings often showed a Diety or God sticking out their tongue or breathing flames as a sign of giving life. The Deity links alternate with rectangular silver links that have a center channel that contains large silver demi sps ~ t are smaller silver demi sp accents on either side of the center channel. The links are connected with heavy silver soldered jump rings. T he clasp is a simple hook closure that is seen on much of the early Mexican silver jewelry.
