Gorgeous, grand, and graceful ...

is a traditional clamper bracelet that boasts the superb bead or dot motifs favored by celebrated Taxco designer/silversmith F. Balladares B. Impressive in size and craftsmanship--most especially in the graduated silver beadwork and richly applied niello--the piece most probably dates from the late 1950's to '60s. Hallmarks: F BALLADARES B , MEXICO , STERLING , 925 , Eagle assay #178. Dimensions: The clamper measures 2-1/8" tall at the front and tapers to 1" tall at the back. The inner circumference measures approximately 6-1/2". Condition: Overall, the piece is in fine vintage condition. The hinge is tight and snaps back nicely. The niello is in excellent shape. T is some age-appropriate wear to the silver, as well as a few minor dimples and dings. But t are no major flaws and no repairs. The bracelet is eminently wearable and will make a lovely addition to any vintage Mexican silver collection.
