A most stunning vintage pre eagle assay Mexico Sterling Silver duo.........
huge faceted Smokey Quartz earrings and matching ring........... this set is in mint condition........ all marked simply "Silver Mexico".......... dates them to somew in the 40's or earlier............ t are absolutely no flaws in any of the faceted quartz, the light reflects the silver on either side earrings measure a bit larger than 5/8 inches on one side and 5/8 on the other............ rich sterling detailed framework surround the large faceted quartz, which measure approx 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch............. i do not know how to convert to carat size, but they are stunning in size and clarity, no chips or scratching.......... earrings set up off mounting at a bit over 1/4 inches.............. both have screw back working mechanisms in perfect working order backs of earrings are open to the frame, which allows light to show thru the gemstones....... the ring is approx a size 6 1/2, and can easily be sized as t are no feature lines on the band itself........................ the faceted quartz is absolutely wonderful, and rich in size........a full 5/8 inches by 1/2 inch.......... the setting sits up off the mounting as well at approx 1/4 inch............ I have taken a few different angles to try and capture the beauty of this trio............the craftmanship on the frames of the earrings and rings is wonderful...............the patina is excellent.........
