You are bidding on an absolutely wonderful, vintage photo booklet - "MIAMI THE BEAUTIFUL"
This booklet's cover and back cover are made of a heavy stock card type paper. On the front cover is the title "MIAMI THE BEAUTIFUL" with a scenic photo of palm trees and the bay with embossed gold scrolling. The booklet itself is bound with a staples but it also has a piece of braided string holding it together through 2 holes - a nice touch! The inside cover has a piece of tissue paper to protect the lovely picture from the paper. The first page is an absolutely gorgeous trio of pictures of old Miami. The colors are unbelievable! It also says "Published by Foster & Reynolds Co., Miami, Fla." The booklet measures 10 1/2" by 8". Inside the booklet are wonderful photos of old Miami. Including, Hotel Royal Palm and Park, Hotel Halcyon, Avenue C, Ocean Drive at Miami Beach (which is shown as a dirt road), Alton Beach Casino Swimming Pool, The Indian Trail at Cocoanut Grove, The Prado at Miramar, Miami River and Drainage Canal at Musa Isle, Cherokee Lodge, several old Miami residences & estates, The Last Mile of The Dixie Highway, A Typical Seminole Squaw. T are 31 photos in all. All the photos are in color. Each photo has its own page and on the opposite page is a brief description of the photo. The photos are also suitable for framing. The outside cover and back cover of the booklet are creased all around and have a few little tears and t T are a few age spots on the first few pages but the rest of the booklet has none. I am not sure of the exact age of this booklet but judging from the photos inside, I would say it is pretty old! This booklet is completely fabulous and would make an excellent addition to your Miami memorabilia collection. Please ask me any questions you may have before bidding. Please contact me if you require international shipping as that will alter the shipping costs. The flat rate shipping includes shipping and handling.
