I believe this is from the 1940s to 1950s (i think). The maker is Christmas House. On the box it reads, NEW! SANTA'S SLEIGH RIDE; Santa and his reindeer silently orbiting your Christmas Tree. A perky tree top santa also revolves, keeping an eye on the celestial journey. Santa tree top and sled and reindeer revolve around tree 6 times per minute. Unit complete, ready for easy one clamp installation. 110 v ac motor. Made by the James A. Cole Company, New York. OK? Now is the information about this. Unbelievably, this has been sitting around for many, many years. The box is in excellent condition for its age. T is really no damage, just some yellowing from age. MIght have been white at one time, now its off white and the items inside were NEVER used. The reindeers are still in the plastic sleeve. The instructions for this are still in the box. Nothing was ever touched! Except when i plugged it in to make sure it worked. AND IT DOES WORK!!! The box alone measures 3 foot 1/2 inch. The santa and reindeer and sleigh measure 13 inches and are attached to a 3 foot metal thin pole (which will revolve around the tree). The santa that sits on top is 9 1/2 inches tall. He will rotate around the top of the tree (as the box says, to keep an eye on the celestial journey). When i plugged this all in the motor was very silent. The motor is quite small.
