This neat, vintage, carved painted eyed, large, 8 1/2 inch, working "Perch Fish Spearing Decoy" was made by Gorden "Pecore" Fox (1914-????) of Mt. Clemens, Michigan. The estimated circa is 1940's. Pecore was another member of the fraternity of great Lake St. Clair, Mt. Clemens area of legendary ice spear fisherman, and waterfowl and fish spearing decoy makers. This old fish attractor appears to be one of Pecore's earlyest examples. The condition is with moderate in use wear only. The winning bidder pays $5 for quality packaging and priority mail shipping.
