You are bidding on an adorable 1950s or 1960s Vintage Mickey Mouse weight driven pendulum clock with moving eyes. This wonderful mint condition Mickey Mouse clock is still in the original box and has never been used. The clock measures 10 ½" tall, 6 ¼" across and is 3" front to back. The face of this vintage clock is made of molded plastic that is cold painted and still has a gold and black label that reads "Walt Disney Productions." The face of the dial is marked with an inverted pyramid with the logo MI-KEN just below the number 12. Also on the dial just below the center w the hands are it is marked MI-KEN CLOCK MFG. CO. LTD., JAPAN . The back part of the clock that houses the works is made of wood painted two colors of pink and also bears a silver sticker that reads WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS in a circle around a likeness of Mickey Mouse. The pendulum consists of a plastic shaft of transparent yellow color and a metal sliding weight that is gold colored. The weight that drives the workings of the clock is cast iron, 4 3/8" long and 1" in diameter, and is painted gold and reddish brown. The original box measures 11 ½" by 7 ¾" by 3 ½" and is made of cardboard. The box has some damage to the left side and top left corner of the lid. The damage consists of a tear about 1" long at the corner and several creases along the left side. The lid is marked on both sides "Disney Pet" and on one end it is marked MI-KEN in large letters. On the other end the lid is marked MI-KEN CLOCK MFG. CO. LTD and the name MICKEY stamped in a white box. Overall this whimsical Mickey Mouse clock is in mint unused condition and the original box is in fair to good condition. This hard to find clock would make a fabulous Christmas gift for the Mickey Mouse or Walt Disney collector! U. S. buyers pay Priority Mail postage and optional insurance.
