This clock is all metal construction and measures 13.5 inches in diameter. It has been cleaned and works fine. This clock has a patent number of 2724233 that dates it sometime after the mid 1950s. The clock was originally made to be connected to a central controller where the time could be adjusted remotely. There isn't and wasn't a time adjusting knob on this clock. You could understand why in a school setting. The only way I could find to set the time now is to remove the front glass lens and manually turn the hands. (easy to do) I prefer to be up front with pointing out all the aspects of my items. There are 2 black wires in the clock mechanism were a 110v power cord could be attached to run the clock bypassing the controller link. (I will install a power cord before shipped.) I believe this clock used to be installed in one of the Akron Tire companies before they closed down. It is also marked with a school name but it is hard to read.
