Fabulous! This is a Mid Century Swedish ceramic vessel. The decoration very much in the manner of Lisa Larson designs and the shape very much like Stig Linberg canoe bowls. This lovely measures 14 1/2" long x 5 1/2" wide. The art work delightful ... two beautiful modernist abstract birds boast repetitive geometric patterns with raised and incised relief. Made of deep chocolate matte porcelain/cream ware in shades of white and brown. Signed on the back with a tag HK..Holbaek Lervarefabrick? In excellent condition...minor scratches on the bottom foot of the vessel.... never seen unless turned over. A more than fabulous addition to any Scandinavian ceramics collection! Smoke/pet free.
