This is a great set! Both the cup and teapot have birds for handles.Cup,saucer, and teapot have sort of scalloped gold edges with a stripe of burnt orange(?) color on them. Teapot has "Made in Japan" in red ink on bottom, the cup and saucer have"Japan" in red on the bottom.All are in wonderful condition-no defects noted unless the parrots head on the tea pot has just worn away over the years?????OR it was painted like that at the factoroy. Cup measures 1 3/4" across the top(handle not included in measurement), the saucer measures about 3" across, the teapot measures 2" across the top not including handle or spout. The lid is t I consider any cup 2" and under a mini cup.Over 2" I consider demitasse size.No defects noted. **************************I DO NOT ACCEPT PAY PAL. ********************** Postal money order preferred.Please read further for other payment options and information. I do accept Cashiers Checks and the Western Union Money Order from BidPay (t is a wait with these methods also). The buyer pays the actual postage, insurance, and packaging material cost, if applicable. All items are shipped by priority U.S. Mail unless we agree to something different before the end of auction.I DO NOT USE PAYPAL(we loose what little profit we make). I will send you a final Invoice with the total cost. In the event I agree to the return of an item, I DO NOT REFUND POSTAGE or INSURANCE FEES. In addition, I deduct both the eBay listing and commission fees. At the end of the auction: It is required to send an email with item # and title along with your name and address. ALSO it is required to include name and address when sending payment (with title and item #--helps cut down on mistakes!). DO NOT send auction info with my name & address on it-I need yours. PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS FROM END OF AUCTION or unpaid item will be listed with ebay and non paying bidders will be blocked from any further business.
