This auction is for a set of vintage swizzle or stir sticks,made of glass, with little "magazine" tag attachments,and still in the original box.The box is labelled " 8 Hangover Stirrers" and these were apparently made by the Milbert Co.,of Hampstead,N.Y. The end of this box that is not photographed is printed with the words "style number 2," and the word "magazines". T are 8 glass sticks in the box,all are about 6" long,hooked at the end,and 7 have an attached tag that represents a major magazine of the era.The tags are colorful and the illustrations look like the covers of magazines.Included are : Ladies' Home Journal,Sat.Evening Post,Good Housekeeping,Life,House & Garden,New Yorker, and Popular Mechanics.None of the sticks has any breaks,chips or cracks,all of the 7 tags that are present are intact,and none have damage.The exterior box is in very nice condition also,and it measures about 9 and 1/2" by 6 and 1/2",and has clear black and gold graphics.Neat and unique vintage bar set for collections,use and display!Paypal,money orders and checks are fine for payment for U.S. shipping,International shipping requires Paypal for payment.I will e-mail you with totals shortly after auction,and will send an invoice through eBay.High bidder to pay actual shipping,exceptions on some First Class items,I have rounded up to even dollar amount. read more
