Up for offer is a lovely old, unmarked milk glass biscuit jar with silver plate handle and lid. The decal design found in two places on this tall oval jar, are in pristine condition with beautiful colors. T are no nicks, cracks, chips or flakes to the jar or dings or dents to the lid. It stands 9" tall to the tip of the lid. The base of the jar is 4" and it is about 5 1/2" diameter at the fullest point. I have had this jar maybe 19 yrs. I have used it at the holidays for everything from holding biscuit(crackers), flowers, hard candies, and even the base for a tall candle. I put a cover over the opening(a little saucer) and then put a cylindrical candle on that. Anyway it is very functional, very pretty and old. I like the decorative handle with two little flowers in the middle of the handle. The opening diameter is 3 1/2" at the top.
