VINTAGE TABLE LAMP - MILLER WITH VERPLEX CO. LAMP SHADE This auction is for a nice vintage metal electric table lamp. This lamp is made by the Miller Lamp Company and appears to be brass or bronze. The base is fluted, and the harp also has a design going part way up. The number "971" and the word "Miller" are on the bottom of the base. The socket has the voltage (250) and wattage (250) engraved in it along with the word "Hubble" and "Miller Lamps). The candlestick stem is also metal with a scored design. I'm not sure what the shade is made of, but it feels like smooth cardboard. It is brick red or rust in color with gold leaf pattern on the top and bottom and does have a small indention on the back near the seam. T is a very small piece of the top layer missing at the seam, but nothing to detract from the shade. The shade was made by the Verplex Co. The lamp stands approximately 21" high, does tilt a little (the harp may need to be straightened a little) and is in working order. Shipping & Handling
