VINTAGE OLD MILWAUKEE BEER SIGN

Up for bid is this old OLD MILWAUKEE beer sign. The front of the sign reads: OLD MILWAUKEE TASTES LIKE DRAUGHT BEER GREEN BOTTLES AND CANS AT A POPULAR PRICE. The is a green bottle and can, with a glass of beer sitting on a wooden barrel. This sign has scratches in a lot of places...BUT you can still read and see the beautiful art work! In picture 2, the bottom left hand corner is dented in and rusted. Picture 3 and 4 I am showing the worst of the scratches. The front of this sign is metal. The back is cardboard so you can prop the sign up or you can hang it by the string that is in the back. On the back t is black coloring which you can see in picture 5. Overall this is a GREAT sign. A must have for any beer collector!!! Happy bidding!!!

This piece is being released from the Beatrice Meredith collection. (1920-2009) Ms. Meredith was a very popular, prominent antique dealer, as well as a collector in the Midwest. She did private sales to the very elite as well as doing exclusive shows. She traveled the world, always researching and purchasing rare antiques. Other interests included perennial gardening. She was the recipient of the Mayor's, City of Milwaukee Beautification Award. Her beautiful and rare antiques were always in demand.

Payment is expected within 48 hours of the time the auction/item ends. If you are not using paypal, please email me and let me know you are sending a check. Local deliveries/pickups will be charged a handling fee of $2.00 to offset ebay fees. A $3.00 handling fee is included in our shipping charges. This is used to pay ebay, paypal and any packaging material we purchase.
