For auction we have a vintage coal miners tin lunchbox with a hollow lid and removable cap/stopper allowing access to an ice chamber. There is a metal handle with a wooden roller grip; the front is stamped Leonard. The piece measures approximately 9 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 9 inches tall. We list this item in acceptable used condition, but the general wear evident over the entire piece makes it perfect as a decorative item from the mining period. The box is solid and well in tact; the only structural compromise is very small hole in the bottom which we have shown in the 7th photo. There is also some surface rust noted in and about the Ice chamber and stopper/cap rim which we have shown in the 3rd photo.
Overall, a great decorative item from a very significant part of American history.
We will ship it to you quickly via USPS PRIORITY MAIL.
