Welcome!

This is a miniature / small alarm clock that my husband asked me to list. His grandpa used it while serving in WWII.

It is a sweet little clock! The front measures about 2-1/4" x 1-3/4", and is about 1-1/2" front to back.

It has a handle on top that folds down, and 2 "feet" on the bottom front. (It doesn't appear that it ever had "feet" on the bottom back.)

The clock still sets, winds and runs, but as you can see in the photo, the alarm-setting handle is missing and the alarm volume lever is broken off at the surface of the back of the clock.

The face is marked with a "J" inside an 8 point star. I have no idea what maker this is.

The one photo of the front shows that the glass has chips (not cracks) at the 2:00 position, and t is a smaller chip on the inside of the glass at the 3:00 position.

We have never opened it up since we've had it. To the best of my knowledge, it is in its original condition since its return from Germany.
