This pair of old HR chickens is so sweet! One of my favorite sets (I have them in two different colors myself) and cute as can be. The rooster is a tiny 1 and 7/8 inches and his hen 1 and 1/2 inches tall. They have lovely glossy finishes and some crazing which does not detract and can be expected in pieces this old cast from pottery slip. The hen had a little chip on one foot and had a toe broken off, but I have restored it and she displays nicely. Designed by Helen Perrin Farnlund in 1949 and only available until 1950, these old sets are becoming harder to find and make lovely additions to any chicken, bird or HR collection or shadow box grouping. You will love these two colorful charming miniatures, I promise!

I make every effort to list anything worthy of mention, any flaw or imperfection. However, my eyes aren't perfect and if I have overlooked something email me and let's talk about it. Also note, if you are offended by or allergic to dog hair, cat hair, horse hair, goat hair, bird feathers, cigarette or cigar smoke, food aromas, or naturally occurring irritants such as pollen etc. you might not want to bid on any of my items. Not to say that all of these will be present, I just can't guarantee they won't. I buy and sell many things and to my knowledge, none of them have come from a "sterile" environment. I do however make sure I'm not sending you something covered in grime (as I have received some like that myself).
