Up For Auction Is This Beautiful Rare Mint Vintage 19" (48cm) 1957 Ideal Shirley Temple Doll with Flirty Eyes (Her label calls her eyes "Twinkle Eyes") She is all Vinyl and Dressed in Her Original Clothing. Her Blue Nylon Dress is so crisp and clean. She has her original box and she has all of her tags. (Please read their description below and see photos.) BRAND Ideal DOLL MODEL: Shirley Temple Doll HEAD MARKINGS: IDEAL DOLL ST-19 BOX & TAG MARKINGS: Box is pink bottom and aqua lid Label: Shirley Temple Doll / Ideal / 1420 / Pink / Made in the USA Tags: Twinkle Eyes Baby Doll Ideal ANTIQUE, VINTAGE OR MODERN: Vintage CIRCA: 1957 MATERIAL: She is all vinyl COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Made in the USA EYES: She has blue flirty eyes with lashes FACE: She has Shirley's signature smiling face showing her teeth and dimples HEIGHT: 19 in / 48cm in size CLOTHING: She has on her original blue and pink nylon dress that is crisp and clean. She also comes with a beautiful straw hat with flowers. I am not sure if the hat is her original hat but it looks very nice on her and the hat is lovely. She also has her original underwear, socks and shoes. DOLL & BOX CONDITION: Shirley is in Mint Condition. Her hair is full, Her eyes look back and forth, Her clothing is all original and it is crisp and clean. There is only one spot on her original shoes that has a flaw there is paper that is stuck on the toe (see photo) Her box is very worn and delicate. The walls of the lid are splitting and some of the seams on the box have been repaired with tape. The doll is in perfect shape with tags and box paper the box is in poor shape. If you collect Shirley Temples Dolls you don't want to miss this very RARE, MINT & FINE example of the 1957 Flirty Eye Shirley Temple Doll. She would be a welcome addition for any collection. FYI…My home is a smoke free home but some of my dolls come from the homes of other collectors and I am not sure of their homes but I will let you know if I smell smoke.
