Welcome to another auction by Jils-Uneek-Anteeks Vintage Sterling Silver Mint Julep Cup Up for auction is a mint julep cup that is made out of solid sterling silver. Most popular drink found at the Kentucky Derby!! This lovely cup has a "four lined" rim on the top and bottom. The inside is a brushed silver. See pictures for a better description than I'm doing (smile). Monogram: Symbol (don't know what it means, but I'm sure somebody out t does :o) This was made by Fisher out of New Jersey. They were successors to M. Fred Hirsch and started manufacturing in the 1930s. Measurements (approx): Height: 3 7/8 " Opening: 2 7/8 " Base: 2 3/8 " Grams: 112 Marks: {Fisher} {Crown, f, shield} {Sterling} {3759} Condition: Very nice condition. T are no split s, dents , dings or repairs. All I can find is a very shallow ding (1/8") ...you REALLY have to search for it. Some typical surface scuffing. Payment Terms Payment may be made by cashier's check, money order, personal check (not to exceed $100.00 unless you get prior approval from me) or PayPal ( $25.00 minimum ... due to fees that PayPal charges to sellers) . Please allow ten (10) days for personal checks to clear the bank before shipping (exceptions are made for good feedback ratings). Payment is due within ten (10) days of auction close. If payment is not received on time, Buyer forfeits all rights to purchase and Seller reserves the right to relist the item for sale. I really don't like to post negative feedback, I would much rather complete a transaction with the original buyer. Satisfaction I guarantee that what you see in the photos is what you will receive unless otherwise stated. I list all obvious flaws - this does not mean I will catch every single pin head size ding on a 150 year old item. This is what I consider "expected". If I say it has a wavy feel to it and you don't know what that means, email me before bidding. Don't wait until you have received it to say "well, I saw that you said wavy...but, I didn't know what that meant" or "I looked up the maker after I received my spoon and he was in business in 1855, not 1854". Look it up before you bid, not after you receive the item. I may be getting my information from a different book, or I may have made a typo, or I just plain might be wrong. Errors on my part are never intentional, but they do happen ~ afterall, I am human :) On occasion I add to my descriptions, please check for additions at the bottom of this page before placing your final bid. If you do receive an item that you aren't happy with, email me. I don't like to have unhappy customers, only happy ones. Check my feedback, I'm a fair and honest seller. Please give me the chance to fix the problem before you leave a negative feedback.
