Welcome to My Vintage Jewelry Auction it's a Marilyn Thing!.... When I think of the Glamour, Glitz & Elegance of the jewelry from the 1930's - 1960's it's easy to think Marilyn Monroe. She was the ultimate example of Fashion & Design - I think she invented the word Fabulous! Up for Auction and your consideration is this SO VERY GORGEOUS MIRIAM HASKELL CHOKER - PENDANT! This Beauty is too much for words but I'll give it a try. This is an Early Unsigned Haskell - I'm certain you will agree by looking at the pictures in this listing. It will work beautiful as a Choker or a Necklace whatever suits your mood of the day! This piecs appears to be Hand Strung Baroque Art Glass Turquoise Colored Beads but it's either Molded Plastic or Celluloid, I think Celluloid. Which dates it early on during War Time. T is a Chain attached at two points, could have held a hang tag at sometime. The Setting is a 3 Piece Plaque 1) Pierced Plaque that the Beads are Wired to (So Miriam Haskell) that is Wired to an Oval Plaque that is attached to the solid Rectangle Shape Clasp. I know t has to be a Signature on this somew but so far I am not finding it, I am certain it was a hang tag or other typical Haskell Hallmark that has long since been removed or fallen off. The Baroque Turquoise Celluloid Beads are Graduated in Size ranging from approx. 8.73mm to the largest that is beyond my gauge readings so a good guess is approx. 3/4" diameter or around 14+mm. Each Bead is separated by 2 Gold Tone Twisted Rope Squashed Design Spacers. The Center Pendant is Absolutely Gorgeous as well! It shaped in an Oval of 6 beads all centered around 2 Bicone Shaped Aurora Borealis Swarovski Crystal Beads - this is a High End Choker that is truly a Haskell Design of Beauty! Don't pass up your opportunity to Bid on this and Add it to your Vintage Collection! * * * * * * * Exquisite Miriam Haskell Design Choker of Turquoise Colored Baroque Beads, Gold Tone Spacers & Swarovski AB Crystal Beads! Measures: 16" L End 2 End Hanging Length worn as a Pendant = Approx. 14" L Early Unsigned Miriam Haskell - if t was a Hallmark/Tag it is gone. Clasp is a push in the side that makes it a Hidden or Concealed Clasp - this whole Choker is a Work of Art - of course it's a Haskell! Gorgeous Molded Celluloid Turquoise Design Baroque Beads mixed with Earthy Brown Tones all Hand Strung all centering the Grand Finale of Two Swarovski Aurora Borealis Crystal Bicone Beads they are Beautiful! Excellent & Beautiful Mint Vintage Haskell Condition. ** In looking at the clasp with the loupe it appears t may have been another row of beads in the middle of these two however, the way the two rows fit together so perfectly, I do question that am posting this information just in case.
