Up for bid is a Mobilgas 10 gallon visible gravity-flow gas pump made by Wayne . This pump has an acrylic cylinder. The gallon markers are original. The pump inside has been removed, but it still has the original pump handle attached. It has been rewired and repainted, with a new hose and an original polished brass nozzle. The skins are new. Generally this pump has good paint coverage. The globe on top is a reproduction. Thi s pump, along with the other visible-type gas pumps we list on eBay from time to time , date from about 1918 onward, and stand 9 & 1/2 to 10 feet tall, and are approximately 2 feet diameter at the base . This gas pump belongs to Mr. Kenneth Boyd of Roosevelt , Oklahoma , and he is the one who found and repainted/restored it. Mr. Boyd is 78 years old and has lived all of his life on the farm that has been in his family for over 100 years. He has been restoring petroleum products for several years now, having restored approximately 100 of these gravity-flow gas pumps to date (among other restoration projects).
