Up for bid is a Mobilgas 10 gallon visible gravity-flow gas pump made by Wayne . This pump has an acrylic cylinder. The gallon markers are original. The pump inside has been removed, but it still has the original pump handle attached. It has been rewired and repainted, with a new hose and an original polished brass nozzle. The skins are new. Generally this pump has good paint coverage. The globe on top is a reproduction. Thi s pump, along with the other visible-type gas pumps we list on eBay from time to time , date from about 1918 onward, and stand 9 & 1/2 to 10 feet tall, and are approximately 2 feet diameter at the base . Please see the other pumps we have listed on eBay as well. This gas pump belongs to Mr. Kenneth Boyd of Roosevelt , Oklahoma , and he is the one who found and repainted/restored it. Mr. Boyd is 78 years old and has lived all of his life on the farm that has been in his family for over 100 years. He has been restoring petroleum products for several years now, having restored approximately 100 of these gravity-flow gas pumps to date (among other restoration projects). Mr. Boyd would be happy to answer any questions you have about this particular pump. You may reach him at between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Central Time) daily. The pump is quite heavy, weighing about 400 lbs crated. It will either need to be picked up in Oklahoma or be shipped by "freight." T is a $300.00 charge for a solid shipping crate (3/4" plywood reinforced with 2X4's) if you choose to have the pump shipped to you. Mr. Boyd will be happy to arrange for a freight company to transport and deliver this item to the address you provide (all, understandably, at your expense); the address will have to be that of a business (your business or someone you know), for the freight company does not deliver to residential addresses. Feel free to call Mr. Boyd at and he can secure for you the shipping expenses. The "Buyer" is responsible for all packing, transportation and delivery fees from Roosevelt , OK , 73564 . [Please understand that Mr. Boyd has now shipped approximately 60 of these pumps and has had damage on only three (which is a good percentage), but do understand that the buyer assumes all liability for the pump once it is placed on the freight truck. Mr. Boyd does his best to thoroughly and adequately pack each item so as to protect from glass breakage, etc., but if, while in route, a forklift driver, etc. on some dock happens to drop a crate, no amount of packing will probably protect from some type of damage. Insurance is recommended, and the price can be quoted when inquiring about the shipping costs. The buyer, in bidding, acknowledges the danger of and assumes the liability for any damage should such occur in the transportation of the item purchased . Insurance can be purchased for commerical freight and is recommended. ] A Cashier's Check or a Money Order is the preferred method of payment. PayPal is also accepted if you had rather pay in this manner. [DO CALL MR. BOYD (at the above telephone number) UPON BECOMING THE WINNING BIDDER TO DISCUSS THE SHIPPING POSSIBILITIES OR YOUR INTENT TO PICK UP THE PUMP.] Please: No international bidders!!! USA bidders only!!! [If you live outside the USA and desire to bid on this item, do email for the requirements for international bidders.] You can email to request additonal information.
