Hi - If you are considering buying from me for the first time, please take a moment to read through these terms so that there are no misunderstandings over the item for sale, the item condition, post cost & esp POSTING TIMES! I am thinning my collection of dolls clothes due to lack of space. Many are old & some modern. Some are named with tags, others are factory made but without tags, & some are handmade. I am selling those I consider good & interesting items which other collectors will enjoy. Most of my items are NOT MINT, they are in good 'played with' condition. Any faults I notice in this item will be stated in the description below..... YOU ARE BIDDING ON : A Vintage Mattel Barbie item. This is mod Barbie's gorgeous FAB CITY dress #1874 , made in 1969 only. It has a woven silver bodice, pink satin cummerbund & long white satin underskirt with an overlay of chiffon, printed in black & pink with pink ruffle pom-poms. It was made for Barbie but may fit other same size fashion dolls. Not mint, but VERY GOOD condition & clean , newly washed. This dress is very prone to both staining on the chiffon & fading of the satin waistband - this example has neither. The chiffon is white, with only very slight darkening towards the waist, & the pink cummerbund is bright & clean. No holes in the chiffon that I can see. All the pink pom-poms seem to be present, & the satin underskirt is very nice, no stains or snags. The only small flaws the dress has is that the right shoulder starp has been repaired & there is a tiny amount of silver missing in the weave on the upper right back. Front of bodice is 100%, back about 98%. A really nice example. From a non-smoking home. Have a look at my other doll items! New items listed several times a week - mostly clothes, occasionally dolls. POSTAGE: I am happy to discount postage if more than one item is won, & I will hold wins for several days to make up a packet full, but the buyer MUST LET ME KNOW. Ebay will automatically open an unpaid item case after 14 days if no payment has been made. Please request an invoice with combined postage *BEFORE* paying. Travelling & packing costs included in post price - no hidden extras! Payment by PAYPAL only for overseas buyers - NO BANK DRAFTS. UK buyers may also pay by P.O. or cheque, but cheques will need to clear before the items are posted. * UK Postage is for standard small packet post. In the vast majority of cases this is quite adequate. However occasionally items do go astray. Any loss or damage during transit is beyond my control, but I always obtain proof of posting & can help with a claim if you need to make one. If you wish for the more secure 'Recorded' post, or 'Next Day Delivery' service please contact me prior to paying & I am happy to adjust the invoice acordingly!
