We have up for auction an old glass kerosene or oil lamp. This was part of my mother-in-law's estate. She passed away a few months short of 100 years old on September 1, 2010. She is very much missed. Many of her relatives worked in the glass factories in and around the Western PA during the late1800's and early 1900's. I think this maybe one of the pieces she obtained from them but I am not sure. The font of this lamp clearly shows a two part mold. The rather ornate pedestal base shows a three part mold and looks like it was applied to the font rather than being one whole piece.
