This vintage Mono Bridge Mah Jong set (@1950's) has 160 tiles and is complete for Western play. The set contains 4 multi jewel colored racks with 48 rare coins on the brass colored ends. The set also includes a pair of 5/8" dice and a vintage two tone bettor all housed in a dark red vintage leatherette case. The applejuice colored tiles are semi-translucent. The tiles are in excellent condition, clean and shiny with deep graphics and fine paint quality.There are 16 "flower" tiles, 36 dots, 36 craks, 36 bams, 12 dragons and 16 winds. (the 8 jokers made from extra flowers original to the set, have been covered with custom designed geisha stickers from CHarli.) Each tile measures @ 1 1/4" long x 7/8" across x 1/2" deep. The extra heavy Bakelite racks are clean, bright in color with high shine. The coin ends are tarnished. Each rack measures @ 18 1/4" in length. The bettor turns easily and matches the set nicely. The case and tile trays are clean inside and out. The corners and edges are worn with multiple nicks, scrapes and bruises but the case construction is solid and still in good condition for its age.
