Wow....Rare Estate Find. 1924-25 Montgomery Ward & Co. Fall and Winter Catalog (Catalogue) No. 101. Picture one is front cover...picture 2 is back cover and picture 3 is inside of front. Catalog is in pretty decent condit ion for its age !! some pieces off on front cover and tape on bottom of spine. Some pages ar e a thin newspaper texture which has yellowing while the colored pages are more thick and in nice shape. Lots and lots of wonderful old vintage pictures from a time long long gone by !!!! Over 700 pages !! In 1869 all America celebrated the completion of the first trans- continental railroad a t Promontory Point, Utah, linking the East with the West. Three years later--in 1972, Montgomery Ward & Co. originated the plan of selling goods direct by mail---a short cut between the markets of the world and the consumer that has saved many millions of dollars for the American people.
