Here is a beautiful vintage Moorcroft Pottery hibiscus vase, made in England, cobalt blue with red and yellow flowers. It's an unusual shape, about 10.5 inches tall, 3 inches across the top, and 3 inches across the bottom. On the bottom, "Made in England" and "Moorcroft" are incised and there is a worn paper label, "By appointment W. Moorcroft, Potters to the Late Queen Mary". This vase was designed by Walter Moorcroft, 1947-1953; it's the Hibiscus pattern with red and yellow and purple flowers and leaves on a cobalt background. It's in great condition with no chips or cracks or repairs. There is glaze crazing that you can see with magnification and a small glaze pop on one of the leaves on the side under the red bud. It's a great classic elegant vintage vase.
