6 Vintage Old Morgantown HI-HAT Cocktail Stems This listing is for 6 Old Morgantown HI-HAT cocktail glasses with rose, light blue, green, amethyst, chartreuse and smoke glass bowls and bases and clear glass stems. Each cocktail glass has a stem in the shape of a a man's head wearing fancy dress with a top hat and monocle. Each stem measures 5 and 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide at the top rim. Circa 1930s -1940s. Made by hand at Old Morgantown Glass at the height of the Art Deco era, in Morgantown, West Virginia. Originally advertised in a September 1942 ad as a HI-HAT cocktail, they were designed for the Knickerbocker Hotel in New York City. Condition: No chips, flakes or cracks to the glass on any of the glasses. No cloudiness to the glass on any of the glasses. No use wear. Very clean and ready to use. The pink glass has striations in the glass when viewed in bright light. (see last picture). The Fine Print Shipping Free shipping and insurance in the US.
