Many years ago A.G. Russell purchased the rights and inventory of Morseth blades from Steve Morseth. Steve worked for Russell for a short period of time teaching Bob Dozier how to make the Morseth knife. This is one of those knives, probably built by Dozier in the 70's or 80's. Morseth had his blades made in Brusletto, Norway. They were a sort of san mai steel. Soft steel sandwiched by harder steel. This kinfe uses one of those blade. An informed Morseth collector informs me this knife is called the "Ozark Hunter" (Thanks John)It's a rare knife. Made with hidden tang. Brown micarta handle, red white and black spacers. Nickel silver guard and backpacker hilt. MORSETH is stamped along the top edge of the blade. 7.25" OAL; 3.25" blade The knife appears un-used. Original brown leather sheath included. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. However, please email me with any questions. Domestic shipping is $8, Domestic insurance is optional but recommended at $3.10 International sales please contact me for shipping information and rates.
