Here's a vintage porcelain majolica tureen with lid in the form of a duck or goose. The tureen is a Lowestoft reproduction designed by Mottahedeh. This elegant piece came from a high-end estate in the Dallas area. The tureen measures 7½ inches tall, 10½ inches long and 7 inches wide. It weighs about 4½ pounds before packing. The lid is in excellent condition with nicks, chips, cracks, paint loss or other damage. The bottom piece has two small chips to the inside rim. Please see picture There is an inkstamp maker's mark on the bottom as well as a paper label. Please see picture.
