VINTAGE MOVIE LOBBY CARD 11" x 14" The Red Shoes 1949 Oscar winning movie (2) NSS 49 / 355 Under the authoritarian rule of charismatic ballet impressario Boris Lermontov, his proteges realize the full promise of their talents, but at a price: utter devotion to their art and complete loyalty to Lermontov himself. Under his near-obsessive guidance, young ballerina Victoria Page is poised for superstardom, but earns Lermontov's scorn when she falls in love with Julian Craster, composer of "The Red Shoes," the ballet Lermontov is staging to showcase her talents. No pinholes. Small dull crease in upper right corner and lower right corner (barely noticable). Small piece missing from upper left border corner (see 2nd photo). Color is bright and not faded. (looks a little off in the photo, but flash was a problem, and changed the color a bit). A nice card from a memorable movie! Would make a great gift !! NO RETURNS .
