The lamp measures 47 inches from base to top of the white glass that the shade rests upon. The socket is of the Mogul base type. It uses the large base bulbs 3-way. You can purchase the mogul to standard adapters at most lamp speciality stores. The Blue Italian Venetian Marbro Murano glass is a stunning blue color. Pretty much represented in the pictures. The glass is made up of a 2 part assembly. The Blue Venetian glass measure from base to top of the blue glass is 27 inches. It is a beautiful ribbed opalescent glass and I believe the designer was Marbro. The Blue Venetian glass is no doubt Murano. The glass is very clean and the lamp socket and the whole lamp is original. I may have been rewired once during the years. It has been in my family since new in 1962. The diameter of the glass of the base module of the lamp is 11". The base is Gold finished original with very little wear. It has been in a box for years.

The lamp shade is the original. Normally the shade is not included with the lamp I sell. They are very hard to ship and they need a large box. You pay a higher price for box dimensions. I will include the shade at no additional charge on theis lamp because of its uniqueness. It is not perfect but would act as a guide for someone to reproduce to keep it original. All I as is for you to pay the additional shipping for the lamp shade which would be approx. $20.00. Otherwise the lamp will ship without the shade.. Shade dimensions are 22 inches high by 18 inches diameter.

Shipping will be by FEDEX Ground in the US 48 states only for $ 50.00. This includes shipping materials, handling, insurance, box, shipping fee.

If you want the shade add $20.00 to the amount under extras in Paypal for $20.00. If it will not let you do that call me and we will make arrangements.
