A rare Art Deco Penguin Cocktail shaker by NAPIER. He measures 12 1/4" high and bears the hallmark
"NAPIER PAT. D-101559" on the bottom of his feet. The beak opens to reveal a rubber stopper (original). This shaker is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! He has NO DENTS, NO DIGS, NO DEEP SCRATCHES. He stands firmly and and straight on his feet....no wobbling! He does have some light tarnish and a few heavier tarnish spots under his handle. The interior is super clean and even looks unused! The NAPIER penguin cocktail shaker was designed in 1936 by Emil (E.A.) Schuelke and an example was featured in the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum's exhibit "DESIGN" and in the book "Vintage Barware" by Stephen Visakay. This Cocktail Shaker will make an outstanding addition to any barware or Art Deco collection, or would be a amazing gift! Please ASK questions! I am happy and willing to give you any more information that you need! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ **Payment: via PAYPAL only.
