I acquired three, what I think are Old or at least Vintage Indian Rugs or Blankets thy are all different. I found one of these with the same design in closed auctions and its called a Navaho Yei Rug Blanket. For auction is what I think is an old Indian Rug it is thinner than a blanket. I believe it is hand loomed because it of the crudeness and difference in the stitches in size, length and evenness. The faces, the eyes, the things they're holding are all similar but different even on the same characters the way they're loomed. I believe it is made of wool because when I touched it to the inside of my arm it makes it itch. I touched the end of one of the corner ties with a lighter and it stinks when you singe it and it does not crust like a synthetic would. It measures approximately 21-22" W X 52-53" L (it varies in size depending w you measure it) not including the corner ties. It has a small snag near one end (shown in the pictures). T is some light staining w the dye has run (shown in the pictures). I am not an expert on indian rugs, in fact I not even knowledgeable enough to be called a novice.
