Avid S&P collector sacrificing collection duplicates so I can get some more shakers! And some more room to put them in! Please be sure to see my other auctions. I will be listing lots and lots of sets and bunches of other accumulated items. CATEGORY: Salt and & Pepper Shakers / Fish. DESIGN: Now we have a pair of realistic fish. And I even recognize them :o) They are rainbow trout. Done in the traditional style of such sets they are extremely delicate, balanced on their fins, and have a slight bend to their tails. Done in realistic blended shades of pinks and greens, I expect them to swim away just about any second now. MAKER/COUNTRY: Unknown. / Japan. SIZE: Approximately 1 3/4" tall by approximately 3 3/4" long. CONDITION: Very, Very Good considering their vintage status. DAMAGE: The only damage that I can find is some age-related crazing. STOPPERS: The original corks are intact. COLOR: Blended shades of pinks and greens. MATERIAL: Ceramic. AGE: Vintage. Will make a great addition to your favorite collector's horde, a gift to anyone who loves unique items, or for holidays, showers, weddings, anniversaries, house warmings, hostess gifts,and shakers have even been used as great gag gifts (just ask me!).
