Vintage Navy Bearing Circle w/ Wooden Case This auction includes a wooden case which holds a navy bearing circle. Wooden case has a metal plaque located on the front of the box and is labeled with marks, model and serial numbers, as well as a contract number (see pictures). This piece was made by "Pathe Manufacturing Corp in NY NY" for "The US Navy Bureau of Ships". The box measures 11.5 x 11.5 x 4.5 inches. Also has a hinged lid with two latches on the front for secure closure. The bearing circle is held in place inside the wooden box by movable wood latches. On the circle it states " U.S. NAVY BEARING CIRCLE MARK I MOD. 2 N 1405-1941". The circle measures 10.5 inches in diameter. This piece is being sold AS IS .
