T is a lot of fabric in this piece which measures 84" X 82" -- it is displayed on a queen-sized bed and has a generous drape down over the end of the bed. The color on this is SO DECORATIVE IN SO MANY WAYS -- a nice true navy blue with white pattern in it -- I want to point out that this color is just as true on one side as the other for I believe this is done by a wax process(so I was told years ago when I got this piece) and then the dye applied over the wax, the wax removed and voile', the patterning. T is a name under the folded portion of the tag with looks like A or Karavan and also says handm..... Some of these old batiked cloths are very collectible according to the craftsman who did them and I've had this one for quite a few years -- somehow I'm remembering that this particular one was done by a very well known artisan of this sort of thing (for what it's worth).
At any rate, it is seamed down the center and I want to note that a 1" portion of this seam is open toward one of the ends. The fabric has no holes, is not dirty and is just waiting for one of you to either use it for a bed cover, tablecloth, or turn it into a gorgeous window valance etc. Shipping will be $8.50 paid by winner with insurance at their discretion.
