VICTORIAN STYLE CHARMNECKLACE THIS CHARM-Y, BRASS, HEARTS AND GLASS BEADS NECKLACE WILL WOO ANY HEART LOVER .... VICTORIAN-INSPIRED HEART CHARMS, MOLDED FROM VINTAGE CHARMS & PENDANTS. This brass necklace has FIFTEEN (15) heart charms (7 large and 8 small) along with FIFTEEN (15) pink round glass beads topping each heart between the small linked chain. Each heart charm is molded with etched borders of victorian lace-styled swirls on the front and has a flat shiny surface on the back. The smaller hearts are a sweet tinged pink, while the larger hearts are lighter and have a more soft gold tone - but they seem to reflect pink from its surroundings of the small hearts and glass pink beads. This necklace is approximately 25" long and drapes or drops approximately 12 1/2" around the neckline - it drapes beautifully!!! Actually, its long enough that you can just slip it right over your head without even opening the clasp!! Either way, THIS NECKLACE IS LOVELY & FEMININE!!! The chains on these PIDIDDLY LINKS necklaces were known to be handmade. Notice how the chain and the clasp look like Victorian era-piece elements. This is a gently used necklace and the condition is exceptional. Necklace retains the original hallmark tag. The charms, beads, chain and clasp are all in great condition. The clasp snaps and secures perfectly. See pictures for all details. This collectible necklace dates to perhaps the 1970s, made by PIDIDDLY LINKS, KINGSTON, NY. Their jewelry was sold in department stores, THEIR DESIGNS WERE RATHER LIMITED, AND THEY DID NOT ENGAGE IN SERIOUS MASS PRODUCTIONS. All their jewelry have a "ONE OF A KIND" look and style!! What a lovely look with something sheer, summery & breezy or wooly, fuzzy & warm!!! BIT O'HISTORY PIDIDDLY LINKS, KINGSTON, NY was founded by Steve & Elise Pittelman.
