Rare Vintage Needle Pusher Leather & Brass with Star is an old sewing item that I do not recall ever seeing one. I believe it was used in heavy duty hand sewing to push a large needle through either leather or canvas. T are several indents on the pushing surface which is steel encased in the brass shell with raised star. I could see how you would want one of these for hand sewing rather than use a pliers or wreck your hand. What a neat old device. I am selling this old needle pusher with no reserve and free shipping.
