Nice Antique Sewing Machine Awaiting Restoration! This vintage "New Queen" sewing machine belonged to my grandmother and was almost certainly purchased in or near Richmond, Virginia in the 1910s or 1920s -- sorry, I am not an expert on when these were manufactured. My father kept it when my grandmother died in the 1950s and it has not been used since then. As you can see, the (mahogany?) cabinet is in very good condition but needs some refinishing because of some damage to the surface of the cover. The drawers all work and are in good condition. I have posted these pictures and more which can be seen in very great detail (much larger size than these eBay photos) on my website: /paulduke/sewingmachine The treadle works fine but I do not know if the sewing machine itself works as I do not know how to connect it and it is possible some parts are missing. The only parts/accessories I have are pictured (please see my website above for pictures of the accessories) -- a few pieces of hardware for attaching the sewing machine to the cabinet and the cord which I presume would drive the sewing machine as you pump the treadle. As you can see in the picture I also have the original manual which is in decaying condition with torn pages.
