Vintage New York City Porcelain Enamel Street Sign OLD

This is an important piece of NYC history. This is the original 1920's porcelain enamel street sign that originally stood at the corner of Dyer Ave. and W. 34 th ST . We felt that this sign was a little more historically important because when looking at a street map of NYC today it looks like Dyer Ave has actually become part of The Lincoln Tunnel and probably doesn't exist in the same way that it once did when this sign would have been used. It has the great hump back shape and is in that great old deep purple enamel on steel with white lettering. We would say that this sign is in very good original condition. It does have some very, very minor nicks around the edges (see photos), but nothing that matters. It is a real prize! It measures about 22" x 12" and is the same on both sides. NYS residents add 8.75% for sales tax. U.S. buyer pays $20.00 shipping and insurance. Please e-mail questions before bidding.
