Vintage Nickel Silver Soldered Hotel Teapot Reed Barton!
This is a a very neat old teapot. The teapot was made for The Hotel New Weston, a famous Madison Avenue, New York City hotel which opened in 1906.
The teapot has the Reed & Barton embossed on the underside and the numbers (see pics) and name of the hotel.
Imagine all of the history of this teapot. This was a very desirable hotel, according to our research it was especially desirable for ladies traveling alone ( quoted in a 1940 newspaper article).
Teapot measures about 7 inches tall and 7 inches across at widest point.
Neat vintage item!
